Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Currently, granite slabs near the sculptural group with a bust of Vladimir Dzhanibekov on Cosmonauts Square are in disrepair. The sidewalks are also in need of repair - rainwater collects in the square, causing inconvenience to pedestrians.

A working group of qualified specialists developed a project for the reconstruction of this site while preserving the monuments.

During the reconstruction, the territory will be landscaped, the park will be updated in accordance with modern urban planning standards and requirements, paths and sidewalks will be put in order. 

The Khokimiyat of the city apologizes for the inconvenience associated with the movement of pedestrians, the difficulty of access to the roadway and the walks of local residents during the reconstruction of the square.
