Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) - On the eve of the second meeting of the heads of the railway administrations of the SCO member states, a three-day expert meeting began on 29 July 2019 in Beijing (China).

Representatives of the Department of Road and River Transport Development and the Department of Railway Transport Development of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, experts and experts of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari take part in the meeting of the Working Group.

The meeting participants, chaired by the Russian side, are discussing a number of draft documents on the transport sector. On the first day of the meeting the documents of the railway sector were discussed. In particular, the parties discussed and adopted for further consideration the draft Concept of interaction between railway administrations (railways) of the SCO member states.

On 30 July, the Session continued its work and a draft intergovernmental agreement on the creation of integrated transport management systems in the field of road transport was discussed together with experts in the field of highways.

It is planned to devote the third day of the meeting to a discussion of the road development program of the SCO member states.
