Cooperation with universities in Nagoya deepens

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan organized a video conference with the participation of the President of the Nagoya Economic University H. Saburi and Associate Professor A. Umirdinov to discuss the current state and prospects of interaction between the Japanese university and the universities of Uzbekistan.

The leadership of the Japanese university reacted positively to the proposals of the Embassy on organizing online courses for Uzbek students, short-term academic exchanges, conducting joint research and publications.

Currently, a series of lectures on economic diplomacy is being prepared, which will be read for students of UWED, Tashkent State University of Higher Education, TSUU, UzSUWL and other universities, as well as employees of ministries and departments of the republic in March-May 2021.

They also discussed the issue of training specialists and conducting research in the field of economic legislation, which is due to the priority of the agenda of large-scale economic reforms in Uzbekistan and Japan's extensive experience in this area.

H. Saburi confirmed his interest in deepening cooperation with Uzbek universities, in particular, in signing memorandums of cooperation with Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

An agreement was reached on accelerating the approval and signing of these documents, as well as intensifying interaction on the practical implementation of the discussed issues of cooperation.
