Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan is systematically working to implement the agreements reached during the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev to Japan in December 2019.
In particular, during a visit to Nagoya on 24 February 2021, the embassy held negotiations with the mayor of Nagoya, Takashi Kawamura, and representatives of a number of companies such as Marubeshi, Beeanz, Noritsuisu, D’S Grace FE, Knowledeport.
During the meeting, the Mayor of Nagoya, Takashi Kawamura, praised the established cooperation, separately stressing that despite the coronavirus pandemic in December, a number of events were successfully held within the framework of the "Days of Tashkent" in Nagoya. He assured of his readiness to continue making efforts to fill the cooperation of Nagoya with Uzbekistan with the practical content of cooperation.
An agreement was reached on joint development of the organization of the visit of the delegation of the city of Nagoya to Uzbekistan to participate in events on the occasion of the "Days of Nagoya" in Tashkent this year.
Issues of developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbekistan and implementing joint projects were discussed with representatives of Japanese companies. Japanese businessmen expressed their readiness to establish cooperation with Uzbekistan.
During the stay in Nagoya, a visit to the factories of the companies "Noritsuisu" and "Marubeshi" was organized. As a result of negotiations with these companies, an agreement was reached on joint study of cooperation opportunities.
Also during the visit, an agreement was reached on organizing a visit of a delegation of Japanese companies to Uzbekistan from 28 February to 13 March, which will include representatives of such companies Beeanz, Noritsuisu, Fred Inc., Gakku Plus Corp., Dax Inc., ENITY, Sioninvestment Inc., Akitec Inc. and Global Silkroad.
