Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 2 November 2021, the Uzaviation Agency held a working meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Interstate Aviation Committee - Chairman of the Commission on International ATM Programs and the Use of Airspace Kleschev K.A. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Uzaeronavigation Center and other departments.

The Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) is the executive body of the Interstate Council on Aviation and the Use of CIS Airspace to coordinate activities in the field of civil aviation and the use of airspace.

During the working meetings, the prospects for strengthening cooperation between the IAC and the aviation industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the development of the national ATM system, topical issues on automated flight control systems for unmanned aerial vehicles, legislative and regulatory support for their implementation were discussed.

Following the meeting, a preliminary agreement was reached on establishing close cooperation in the field of legislative and regulatory support for the implementation of automated flight control systems for unmanned aerial vehicles.
