Consultative Council of the World Youth Association of Uzbekistan established

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution “On measures to support and increase the effectiveness of the activities of the World Association of Youth of Uzbekistan”.

In accordance with the resolution, the consultative Council of the World Youth Association of Uzbekistan was established.

The resolution approved the following:

- Regulations on the Advisory Council of the World Youth Association of Uzbekistan;

- composition of the Advisory Board;

- Program of measures to support and improve the effectiveness of the Association.

According to the Regulation approved by the resolution, one of the main tasks of the Advisory Council is to provide assistant and support for young people who have left Uzbekistan, as well as those who plan to go abroad for training and work.

The Advisory Council reports every six months on the performance of its tasks to the presidential Administration and the Government.

The program of events approved by the resolution envisages the organization of "Days of open dialogues with young people" on a quarterly basis and the international festival "Young compatriots".

In addition, a 24-hour helpline and a special web portal will be launched to provide assistance on issues within the competence of the Association.
