Conference of German-language teachers to be held in Uzbekistan

The tenth conference is organized by the Embassy of Germany in Tashkent in cooperation with lecturers from Germany, Goethe Institute, Fund named after Robert Bosch and Central Department of schools abroad (ZfA).

It is expected that Ambassadors of Germany and Switzerland, representatives of Ministries of higher and secondary special education and Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan will participate in the opening ceremony.

During two day, the teachers will participate in practical seminar, such as use of actual German music and films at the lessons or teaching grammar and literature. They will also exchange experience and development of teaching Germany within the Association of teachers of German language.

According to the Ministry of Public Education, currently 4% of students are studying German language in Uzbekistan.
