Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Government resolution approved the Administrative Regulations for the provision of comprehensive public services related to death registration.
According to the regulation:
An employee of a medical and preventive institution, after confirming the fact of death, sends information about the deceased to the registry office through an automated information system.
The registry office - automatically through the information system records the record of the act of death and sends the information electronically to the medical institution and the Pension Fund.
An employee of a medical institution - issues a death certificate with a QR code image to the applicants in two copies at once.
Branch of the Pension Fund - before the 5th day of each month, transfers to the account in the Commercial Bank funds in the amount of at least the total amount of funeral benefits paid in the given region last month.
A commercial bank - on the basis of a death certificate with a QR code, confirms the information by sending an electronic request to the Pension Fund, and then makes the payment of a pension from the funds previously financed.
The Civil Registry Office, at the request of close relatives and heirs of the deceased person, at any time, on an extraterritorial basis, prints out a stamped death certificate or sends it by mail to the address indicated in the application.
In accordance with the resolution, from 1 April 2022 in the city of Tashkent, and from 1 July 2022 throughout the Republic, the procedure for issuing medical death certificates by medical institutions is canceled, and the procedure for generating medical death certificates is introduced only through an electronic system.
