Compliance with quarantine requirements to be taken under strict control in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, a special meeting was held at the Tashkent city khokimiyat under the leadership of the chief of staff of the city of Tashkent to prevent the import and spread of coronavirus infection in the city of Tashkent, the khokim of the city of Tashkent Jakhongir Artikhodjaev.

The meeting was attended by members of the headquarters - deputy khokims of the city of Tashkent, heads of city sectors, district khokims and heads of departments. The meeting heard the data of the Main Department of Health of the city of Tashkent and the Service of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health regarding the increase in the number of cases of coronavirus infection in the city of Tashkent in recent days.

In addition, the importance of taking control of the current situation, ensuring full compliance with the current quarantine requirements and norms in all districts, makhallas, workplaces and educational institutions of our city, as well as in crowded places - in markets, in shopping centers and public transport.

Instructions were given to persons responsible for preventing the spread of coronavirus infection in the capital and monitoring the full observance of the current quarantine requirements and sanitary and hygienic standards by the population.

Following the meeting, a corresponding decision was made by the Headquarters.

To prevent the spread of the disease among the population, a number of organizations began to take measures.

Groups of employees of the National Guard, the Internal Affairs Directorate, the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service have been formed to monitor compliance with quarantine requirements in the markets, in catering establishments, organizations and institutions.
