Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Territorial Department of the Competition Development Committee for the Tashkent region conducted a systematic analysis of advertising content disseminated via mass media, the internet, and outdoor advertising to ensure compliance with the country's advertising legislation.

During the inspection, it was revealed that the limited liability company LUTFILLA FAYZ, operating in the region, had distributed advertisements for alcoholic beverages.

According to Article 38 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Advertising,” the advertising of alcoholic products, regardless of alcohol content, is strictly prohibited.

Based on the identified violation, the Territorial Department’s special commission initiated proceedings in accordance with the regulation approved by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 225.

As a result of the case review, a decision was made to impose a financial penalty on LUTFILLA FAYZ as stipulated by law.

Additionally, the company received formal orders to eliminate the violations and take measures to prevent their recurrence.
