Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 July this year, as part of the visit of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye Süleyman Soylu to the Republic of Uzbekistan, a meeting was held with the Commander of the National Guard, Major General Rustam Juraev.
At the meeting, the prospects for further expansion of cooperation between the National Guard and the Turkish Police and Gendarmerie in the field of public security, training and advanced training were discussed.
During the dialogue, it was noted that friendship and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkiye are important factors in the development of bilateral relations in all areas of activity.
At the end of the event, which was held in the spirit of friendly and constructive dialogue, the parties agreed to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation, increase the number of joint practical exercises and courses, as well as expand contacts between educational institutions.
