Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On additional measures to accelerate the development of the building materials industry in the Bukhara region" was adopted.

To accelerate the development of the building materials industry in Bukhara region, attract investment in the processing of local minerals, the production and export of competitive products by the cluster method, the following tasks were set:

increase in the extraction of cement, dolomite, gypsum and other raw materials;

development of marble and granite deposits, production of modern decorative facing stones;

study of the graphite deposit, its industrial extraction and deep processing, organization of the production of graphite electrodes, graphite rods for fast-charging batteries and spare parts for the modern electrical industry;

organization of ocher mining, production of finished products, dyes, mineral fillers and others from it;

development of sand-gravel deposits, construction of screening and crushing facilities and organization of production of finished reinforced concrete products, asphalt and road-building materials from inert materials (sand, crushed stone).

The document approved the lists:

subsoil plots of Bukhara region, including minerals put up for auction;

proposed promising subsoil plots for geological study in Bukhara region;

investment projects to be implemented in Bukhara region in 2022-2023 in the production of building materials;

promising investment projects in the field of building materials in Bukhara region.
