Citizens working abroad and members of their families to be provided financial assistance

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Citizens working abroad and members of their families will be provided financial assistance.

In accordance with the law, every year, on the basis of a written recommendation of the khokim’s assistants:

- families whose breadwinners have left for labor migration abroad and are registered in the information system "Unified Register of Social Protection" will be provided with one-time financial assistance in the amount of 2 times the amount of the basic estimated value (540,000 soums);

- to family members of citizens leaving for labor migration who have disabilities, registered in the information system "Unified Register of Social Protection" or included in the "Iron Notebook", "Women’s Notebook" or "Youth Notebook", for the purchase of medicines, wheelchairs, hearing aids and orthopedic products are provided with one-time financial assistance in the amount of 5 BRD (1 million 350 thousand soums);

- family members of citizens who have left for labor migration, living together with them in Uzbekistan and who have reached retirement age or have disabilities of groups I and II, are provided with free one-time vouchers to sanatorium-prophylactic medical institutions of the trade union system.

Also, according to the written recommendations of the mahalla youth leaders, children of citizens who are registered in the Unified Register of Social Protection information system or entered in one of the “notebooks” and left for labor migration are provided with free tickets to seasonal camps.
