Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Government resolution “On measures to introduce a new procedure for the registration of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the place of temporary stay in the city of Tashkent and Tashkent region” was adopted.

According to the resolution, the procedure for registering citizens at the place of temporary stay in the city of Tashkent and Tashkent region will be further improved.

Electronic registration of citizens at the place of temporary residence through special tablet devices will be organized from 1 November 2022 to 1 September 2023 in the city of Tashkent and Tashkent region as an experiment.

Citizens are temporarily registered for a period of not more than one year, as indicated in the application of the owner or in the lease agreement registered with the tax authorities, at the place of residence in the city of Tashkent or the Tashkent region.

For temporary registration, citizens within 15 days from the date of arrival may, at their discretion, apply to:

to preventive inspectors at a convenient address;

to the divisions for migration and registration of citizenship;

to the Public Service Centers;

to a single interactive portal of public services.

A temporary registration record sheet is a document that confirms that a citizen is on temporary registration at the place of residence.
