Citizens of Uzbekistan gain opportunity to work in Ulsan under E-7 Visa
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new opportunity has opened for Uzbek citizens to work in the South Korean city of Ulsan under the E-7 visa, according to the Migration Agency.
A working group led by Matlab Kuranov, Deputy Head of the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers, held a meeting with Ulsan Mayor Kim Doo-gyum.
During the talks, the parties discussed the exchange of experience in the industrial sector, cooperation in labor migration, and plans for implementing joint projects.
Mayor Kim highlighted that after the July graduation of 105 Uzbek trainees from the “Ulsan Vocational Training Center” in Fergana, they will be able to promptly secure jobs at Hyundai’s enterprises.
“The Ulsan authorities now have the right to directly issue E-7 visas to Uzbek citizens. With the powers granted by the Korean government, we eagerly await your specialists in one of the country’s most industrially developed provinces.
The only condition is compliance with local laws, after which it will be possible to work under the E-7 visa along with your family,” emphasized Mayor Kim Doo-gyum.
