Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Citizens, arriving in Uzbekistan from a number of foreign countries, will have to undergo quarantine for 10 days.
The Republican Special Commission made an appropriate decision in order to prevent the penetration of the omicron strain of the coronavirus COVID-19.
According to the decision of the special commission, those entering Uzbekistan from abroad are required to have a certificate of a negative result of a PCR test for coronavirus infection, made at least 72 hours before arrival.
In the absence of a PCR test with a negative result, travelers must undergo rapid testing for the presence of coronavirus infection at airports, train stations and border checkpoints.
Also, passengers entering the territory of Uzbekistan from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Egypt, subject to the above requirements, will be quarantined at home or at a hotel for ten days at their own expense.
