Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 February 2021, inter-ministerial consultations were held in the format of a video conference on interaction within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States this year.

The event was attended by the heads of the relevant departments of the foreign affairs agencies of the Commonwealth member states and the CIS Executive Committee.

An exchange of views took place on the current state and prospects of further development of multilateral cooperation in the CIS space, as well as on other issues of mutual interest.

During the meeting, information on the results of the implementation of the Plan of multi-level inter-ministerial consultations for 2020 was considered and approved.

Information on the progress of the implementation of the Program of Action to enhance partnership between the foreign affairs agencies of the CIS member states was considered.
