Chinese Delegation Explores Opportunities at Tashkent Pharma Park and Pharmaceutical Zones

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan held a series of meetings with Chinese partners, including the leadership of the BRICS Countries Special Economic Zones Cooperation Center, representatives of the Ministry of Commerce of China, and the Hangzhou Chamber of Commerce.

The discussions focused on prospects for implementing joint projects in the pharmaceutical sector and attracting investors.

A separate meeting was held with UnicornShell, during which Tashkent Pharma Park and the Pharmaceutical Free Economic Zones were presented.

The parties discussed the possibility of organizing capsule production at the Zomin Pharma SEZ, while the Chinese side introduced Uzbek partners to modern manufacturing technologies.

An agreement was reached for a Chinese delegation to visit Uzbekistan in September to exchange information on market requirements.
