Chinese Ambassador to Uzbekistan Visits Andijan Region to Discuss Joint Projects
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Uzbekistan, Yu Jun, paid a working visit to Andijan Region, where he was received by the regional hokim, Shukhratbek Abdurakhmanov.
During the meeting, the regional governor expressed his pleasure at the visit of the high-ranking guest and provided a detailed overview of Andijan’s socio-economic development, existing industrial and investment opportunities, and the favorable conditions created for foreign investors.
Special attention was given to major projects in the fields of industry, logistics, energy, agriculture, and tourism, the activities of free economic zones, and prospects for establishing joint ventures.
In turn, Ambassador Yu Jun thanked the hosts for the warm welcome and emphasized China’s readiness to fully support the expansion and deepening of bilateral cooperation.
The diplomat highlighted the high investment potential of the region and expressed confidence in the successful implementation of joint projects across various sectors.
The discussion noted that strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China has reached a new level in recent years. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of mutual trust and friendly relations between the leadership of the two countries, as well as the significance of the state visit by the President of Uzbekistan to China, which contributed to further strengthening bilateral cooperation.
Following the meeting, both sides agreed to continue the consistent development of mutually beneficial ties, intensify investment and trade-economic cooperation, and jointly work to deepen these relations.
