China’s STI Plans Green Energy Projects in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting took place at the Uzbek General Consulate with Hao Jui, Vice President of the Chinese company Soltenia Technology Introduction (STI), to discuss potential renewable energy projects in Uzbekistan and the development of high-efficiency energy storage systems.
STI specializes in solar thermal energy technologies and heat storage using molten salts, providing comprehensive solutions that include research, design, production, sales, and operation of software products for green energy applications.
The delegation expressed particular interest in a project to create an integrated solar and photovoltaic energy system for an industrial park in Bukhara region. The investment for this project is estimated at US$75 million.
STI is also considering projects to supply solar energy to industrial enterprises and other facilities across Uzbekistan. To advance organizational discussions, the STI delegation, led by Hao Jui, plans to visit Uzbekistan in early April and requested assistance in arranging meetings with the leadership of Bukhara region and relevant authorities.
