Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Presidential decree "On additional measures for comprehensive support of youth and further increase of their public activity" was adopted.
According to the decree, in August 2021, for each child under the age of 18 from families included in the " Iron Notebook ", a one-time financial assistance in the amount of 500 thousand soums will be provided.
Children from families included in the "iron notebook" and studying in state higher educational institutions, for the first academic year in the 2021/2022, the full amount of the contract fee will be covered;
Children from families included in the "Iron Notebook" and "Women’s Notebook", as well as young people included in the "Youth Notebook" who marry for the first time, are allocated an unsecured loan of up to 33 million soums for the construction of additional housing in their residential premises
In order to strengthen the social protection of young families, an additional 2 thousand young families are allocated subsidies for the purchase of housing with an initial payment and interest payments within the framework of the mortgage program.
From 1 September 2021, students studying in higher educational institutions of the republic on a paid-contract basis are allocated educational loans in the amount of the main interest rate of the Central Bank with the condition of repayment within seven years, starting from the seventh month, after the end of the period of study.
A procedure has been introduced for the payment of a bonus to the official salary of young specialists working in state bodies, organizations and institutions who have graduated from bachelor’s and master’s degrees or received an academic degree (PhD and an equivalent scientific degree) in foreign higher educational institutions, included in the top-500 of the list of authoritative international rating organizations.
From 1 October 2021, monthly allowances are paid on the basis of an agreement concluded between the Civil Service Development Agency, an employer and a young specialist for a period of up to 3 years, every month in addition to the official salary of a young specialist.
