Child dies from electric shock in preschool facility

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 28 March, a tragic incident occurred in a private family-run preschool in Bukhara district, resulting in the death of a child.

According to the Bukhara Regional Department of Preschool and School Education, the accident happened when a student, Sh. Sh., born in 2023, came into contact with an electrical cable and lost consciousness.

Medical professionals confirmed the child's biological death at 16:43.

A preliminary investigation into the incident is currently underway.
