Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the plant of UzAuto Motors JSC in the city of Asaka, the next stage of preparations for the launch of a new generation Chevrolet Tracker-2 car into mass production has begun.
The current stage of the test release of Tracker is called "NON-SALABLE", that is, "NOT INTENDED FOR SALE"
The practical production of vehicles that are not intended for sale allows to work out all the necessary production processes and test them in real assembly conditions.
As part of this stage of preparation for the launch of the Tracker, 16 vehicles will be produced, which will then be subjected to the most difficult road and climate tests during testing.
“All stages of preparation for launching into production and testing are going according to plan, no serious shortcomings have been identified,” said Tolibjon Samsakov, project manager.
As previously reported, UzAuto Motors JSC plans to start production of the Chevrolet Tracker-2 this summer.
The vehicle equipment includes LED daytime running lights, a color screen instrument panel, an 8-inch Chevrolet MyLink touch screen, a 6-speaker audio system, a multifunction steering wheel, air conditioning, keyless entry and start of the engine, a panoramic sunroof, power and heated rear-view mirrors, front and rear power windows.
The Chevrolet Tracker-2 security suite includes frontal airbags, front-row side and curtain airbags, a rearview camera, a tire pressure monitoring system, an electronic stability program (ESP), an anti-lock braking system (ABS), an assistance system start uphill (HSA), rear parking sensors, as well as Isofix child seat mounts.
