At the beginning of the conversation, the Chairperson of the Senate warmly welcomed the guest and spoke about the large-scale reforms being carried out in the country, the establishment of good neighborly relations, the conditions created within the framework of supporting women, the work being done to protect human rights, combating human trafficking and forced labor, improving legislation and acquainted them with their results.
At the same time, during the conversation, it was noted that on 23-24 June 2021, an international forum was held in Bukhara on issues of global inter-parliamentary cooperation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
In turn, Amina Mohammed also noted that positive changes have been taking place in Uzbekistan in recent years, this is widely recognized at the international level. She emphasized that Uzbekistan, as a leading country in the Central Asian region, is actively working to support women.
