Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union currently taking place in Tashkent, a meeting was held between Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Ouch Borith, First Vice President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

During the talks, the two sides discussed prospects for developing inter-parliamentary dialogue, deepening trade and economic cooperation, and strengthening cultural and humanitarian exchanges between the two countries.

Special attention was given to plans for enhancing bilateral ties, including the exchange of best practices in lawmaking and parliamentary interaction.

The meeting took place in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, underscoring the mutual interest of Uzbekistan and Cambodia in expanding their partnership across various spheres.
