Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 16 March 2021, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva arrived in Syrdarya region.

The chairman of the upper house of parliament also visited Saykhunabad district, got acquainted with a number of promising projects and paid attention to the issues of socio-economic development of the district.

At the present time, 30 new jobs have been created in the greenhouse of the Farovon makhalla in Saykhunabad district. It is planned that as a result of the full launch of the remaining greenhouses, another 50 new jobs will be created. It is noteworthy that mainly women of the region constantly worked here.

The President of the Senate, drawing attention to the activities of this greenhouse, talked with women workers.

The chairman of the upper house of parliament T. Narbayeva also got acquainted with the progress of work on the improvement of the Gulistan makhalla located in this region. Opposite the building of the mahalla, shops are being erected that provide food and various household services. A sewing workshop and a sock factory will also be opened. Thanks to the launch of these projects, residents of the mahalla, who are listed in the “women's notebook”, will be provided with permanent jobs.

The chairman of the Senate in the district khokimiyat met with the deputies of the district Kengash, active women. At the meeting, proposals and recommendations were made on working with persons included in the "women's notebook", "youth notebook", "iron notebook", as well as regarding the activities of local Kengashes.
