Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 October 2020, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva visited Turakurgan district of Namangan region and got acquainted with the state of work on the socio-economic development of Turakurgan district and the implementation of measures to reduce poverty in 2020-2022.
In particular, she visited the Rubin BIA enterprise. This enterprise, which produces modern reinforced concrete and frame building materials, created 15 jobs. 35-40 thousand items are produced annually.
The Chairman of the Senate got acquainted with the activities of this enterprise and stressed the need to pay serious attention to the production of high-quality building materials. In addition, an appeal was considered by an entrepreneur on the allocation of a land plot for the creation of a gas station and instructions were given to resolve this issue.
In addition, T. Narbayeva got acquainted with the activities of Abdusalom Ravnaki LLC in the Kalvak MSG of Turakurgan district.
It should be noted that Abdusalom Ravnaki LLC pays special attention to the issues of providing employment for unemployed youth who have returned from foreign countries and the development of the furniture industry.
Currently, this company produces doors and frames made of wood and NDF, cabinets, tables and chairs for preschool educational organizations, furniture for medical institutions. To date, 14 jobs have been created here.
Entrepreneur Mukhammadsharif Kosimov worked in his yard and, due to lack of space, asked for a land plot for him. The district khokimiyat has allocated additional land area, currently construction is in full swing. As a result of the expansion of the furniture factory, it is planned to provide jobs for 20-30 more people.
The proposal to allocate a place in the district vocational college for vocational training of youth was also supported by the President of the Senate and the responsible officials were instructed to resolve this issue.
- This is a very sensible proposal, - said the Chairman of the Senate T. Narbayeva. - Since the admission of high school graduates to higher education institutions is great news. But what about those who have not entered universities? Especially, it is advisable to teach boys a profession. For a skilled person will never be lost. Another aspect is that it is important to assimilate foreign experience in production, to increase its competitiveness and market attractiveness.
The next address of the trip is the Janjalsay bridge, which flows through the Khojent MSG of the Turakurgan district. The Chairman of the Senate considered the project on the capital reconstruction of the automobile bridge across Janjalsay.
As you know, a special Program was adopted based on the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On approval of additional measures for socio-economic development and poverty reduction in Turakurgan district of Namangan region in 2020-2022."
According to the Program, 766 million soums are planned to be allocated for the reconstruction of the Janjalsay bridge in the region. Currently, reconstruction work is in full swing. Officials have been instructed to prioritize construction quality and accelerate the financing process.
After that, the Chairperson of the Senate T. Narbaeva visited the mahalla "Uzumzor" in Turakurgan district.
On the basis of the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to improve the organization of the activities of primary health care institutions in the Republic of Uzbekistan", the activity of the rural medical center "Sokhilobod" was terminated.
Due to the increased demand for medical services, an increase in the number of calls and the number of residents in the mahallas "Uzumzor" and "Sokhilobod", where this rural medical center was located, the issue of restoration and overhaul of the rural medical center "Sokhilobod" was included in the Development Program of Turakurgan district for 2022. Based on this, the issues of transferring funds for 2021 that were allocated for the overhaul of the Sokhilobod SVP, which will resume its activities, and the existing Khujand SVP were discussed.
Currently, local residents have to go to the Fayzobod family polyclinic. However, this creates a number of problems for them, since this polyclinic is located 18 km from the regional center and about 5 km from state medical institutions.
The Chairperson of the Senate emphasized the need to consider this issue and prioritize public health protection. She also emphasized the work to be done in the area in this direction.
“A pandemic does not mean a refusal to fight other diseases,” said Senate Chairman T. Narbayeva. - It is especially necessary to constantly deal with the health of people under dispensary supervision and people with chronic diseases. It is advisable to protect motherhood and childhood, to prevent congenital disability and early childbirth, and most importantly, to study their causes.
In addition, does the normative document on the medical examination of persons entering into marriage meet the current requirements? What should be done in this direction? It is necessary to make suggestions and recommendations on these issues.
One more aspect. It is necessary to pay attention to the food culture, the need for a healthy lifestyle. It is important to conduct propaganda work in this direction among the population. The Law on Reproductive Health provides for sex education for children starting at school. However, today the relevant ministries are not doing any work in this regard. Based on the national mentality, it is possible to train girls and boys separately. In general, Turakurgan district should be the first in the country in terms of the level of health of the population, a healthy lifestyle.
Then T. Narbayeva got acquainted with the refrigeration storage, created by the fruit and vegetable cluster - the farm "Shohidon Burguti", and the process of shipping products for export.
This enterprise has 5 storages, each of which holds 100 tons of products. 100 seasonal and 30 permanent jobs have been created. Basically, representatives of families in need of social protection are employed.
The Chairman of the Senate also visited the farm of the region "Tursunboy Kamilov", talked with cotton pickers working in the cotton fields, and presented them with gifts. This farm, which sows cotton on 132 hectares of land, is expected to harvest 580 tons this year. To date, 540 tons of cotton have been harvested.
