Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva is taking part in the next meeting of the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asia, which will be held on 6 August this year. on the sidelines of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in the city of Turkmenbashi of Turkmenistan.

The event will include an exchange of views on the implementation of policies by Central Asian countries to achieve gender equality, issues of interaction between women in the region in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres will be discussed.

It is envisaged to adopt the Declaration of the Dialogue of Women Leaders and the Appeal of the participants in the Dialogue of Women Leaders to the Heads of State of Central Asia.

The Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asia was created in December 2020 at the initiative of Uzbekistan with the support of the UN. The Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva is the chairman of the Dialogue this year.
