Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 30 August 2022, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva received a delegation led by Chairman of the Board of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, ex-President of the German Bundestag Norbert Lammert.

During the dialogue, the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation were discussed.

During the meeting, Tanzila Narbayeva, welcoming the guests, introduced the large-scale reforms carried out in our country under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, inter-parliamentary cooperation with foreign countries, priority areas of foreign policy, including ongoing work to strengthen good neighborliness, ensure stability in Central Asia.

In turn, Norbert Lammert highly appreciated the changes and updates in the domestic and foreign policy of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the issues of expanding inter-parliamentary ties, improving state and social construction, strengthening cooperation in the economic and social spheres.
