Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 July, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan A. Ikramov met with the President of the Federation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pakistan Mian Nasser Hyatt Maggo in Tashkent.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

During the conversation, the parties noted that trade, economic and investment cooperation is an important component of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.

At the event, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry A. Ikramov drew attention to the fact that today additional opportunities are being created for the development of mutually beneficial and long-term relations between business representatives of the two countries.

In turn, President of the Pakistan CCI Federation Mian Nasser Hyatt Maggo noted that previously there were certain barriers and challenges, but through the joint efforts of the heads of the two countries, today trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Pakistan are being established.

The meeting discussed the prospects for bilateral trade and economic cooperation, the development of industrial cooperation, topical issues and proposals of Uzbek and Pakistani business in various fields, as well as constant contact between the Chambers of the two countries.
