Central Depository stores shares of 1,305 joint stock companies

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Central Securities Depository of Uzbekistan stores securities of 1,305 joint stock companies, which issued 7.182 billion shares for 7.711 trillion soums as 6 April 2012.

About 921 out of 1,305 joint stock companies were founded on the base of the state enterprises, which emitted 2.767 billion shares with total volume of 4.723 trillion soums.

Some 303 joint stock companies are formed on voluntary bases. They emitted 4.336 billion shares for 2.903 trillion soums.

The depository stores securities of 34 commercial banks, which issued 3.978 billion shares worth 1.889 trillion soums.

Seven investment funds issued 5.3 million shares with total sum of 1.631 billion soums.
