The State Central Depository of Securities of Uzbekistan registered state assets in 746 joint stock companies for 4.83 trillion soums at the end of the nine months of 2011.
The depository said the number of the joint stock companies with state assets was 769 with total assets volume of 4.59 trillion soums in the beginning of 2011.
The depository underlined that the anumber of the joint stock companies decreased by 23, but total volume of their assets increased by 240 billion soums.
Structure of the state assets at the end of the reporting period:
- Assets, which are kept by the state (in line with the decisions of the Cabinet of Minister), make up 221 with the volume of 2.34 trillion soums;
- Assets, which will be realized through stock exchange, comprise 417 with the volume of 1.463 trillion soums;
- State assets, which were transferred to economic entities for formation of their charter capital, make up 465 joint stock companies with the volume of 1.178 trillion soums (of which in line with the presidential resolution No. 672 will be realized assets for 194.55 billion soums);
- Blocked assets due to reorganization or liquidation made up 42.71 billion soums in 160 joint stock companies.
