Central Depository registers state assets for 4.646 trln soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Central Depository of Securities of Uzbekistan registered state assets in 747 joint stock companies for 4.646 trillion soums at the end of the first half of 2011. The depository said the number of the joint stock companies with state assets was 769 with total assets volume of 4.59 trillion soums in the beginning of 2011.

The depository underlined that the number of the joint stock companies decreased by 8, but total volume of their assets increased by 56.8 billion soums.

Structure of the state assets at the end of the reporting period:

Assets, which are kept by the state (in line with the decisions of the Cabinet of Minister), make up 218 with the volume of 2.236 trillion soums;
Assets, which will be realized through stock exchange, comprise 421 with the volume of 1.393 trillion soums;
State assets, which were transferred to economic entities for formation of their charter capital, make up 464 joint stock companies with the volume of 1.175 trillion soums (of which in line with the presidential resolution No. 672 will be realized assets for 193.8 billion soums);
Blocked assets due to reorganization or liquidation made up 35.5 billion soums in 148 joint stock companies.
