Central Depository registers state assets for 4.609 trln soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Central Depository of Securities of Uzbekistan registered state assets in 761 joint stock companies for 4.609 trillion soums at the end of the first quarter of 2011. The depository said the number of the joint stock companies with state assets was 769 with total assets volume of 4.59 trillion soums in the beginning of 2011.

The depository underlined that the number of the joint stock companies decreased by 8, but total volume of their assets increased by 19.6 billion soums.

Structure of the state assets at the end of the reporting period:

Assets, which are kept by the state (in line with the decisions of the Cabinet of Minister), make up 222 with the volume of 2.206 trillion soums;
Assets, which will be realized through stock exchange, comprise 423 with the volume of 1.4 trillion soums;
State assets, which were transferred to economic entities for formation of their charter capital, make up 469 joint stock companies with the volume of 1.164 trillion soums (of which in line with the presidential resolution No. 672 will be realized assets for 190.4 billion soums);
Blocked assets due to reorganization or liquidation made up 29 billion soums in 151 joint stock companies.
