Central Depository registers state assets for 4.59 trln soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Central Depository of Securities of Uzbekistan registered state assets in 769 joint stock companies for 4.59 trillion soums in 2010. The depository said the number of the joint stock companies with state assets was 826 with total assets volume of 3.654 trillion soums in the beginning of 2010.

The depository underlined that the number of the joint stock companies decreased by 57, but total volume of their assets increased by 935.8 billion soums.

Structure of the state assets at the end of the reporting period:

Assets, which are kept by the state (in line with the decisions of the Cabinet of Minister), make up 229 with the volume of 2.19 trillion soums;
Assets, which will be realized through stock exchange, comprise 418 with the volume of 1.375 trillion soums;
State assets, which were transferred to economic entities for formation of their charter capital, make up 466 joint stock companies with the volume of 1.152 trillion soums (of which in line with the presidential resolution No. 672 will be realized assets for 175.2 billion soums).
Blocked assets due to reorganization or liquidation made up 48 billion soums in 157 joint stock companies.
