The State Central Depository of Securities of Uzbekistan registered state assets in 777 joint stock companies for 4.184 trillion soums in nine months of 2010. The depository said the number of the joint stock companies with state assets was 826 with total assets volume of 3.654 trillion soums in the beginning of 2010.
The depository underlined that the number of the joint stock companies decreased by 49, but total volume of their assets increased by 530.93 billion soums.
Structure of the state assets at the end of the reporting period:
- Assets, which are kept by the state (in line with the decisions of the Cabinet of Minister), make up 230 with the volume of 1.834 trillion soums;
- Assets, which will be realized through stock exchange, comprise 441 with the volume of 1.373 trillion soums;
- State assets, which were transferred to economic entities for formation of their charter capital, make up 473 joint stock companies with the volume of 1.111 trillion soums.
- Blocked assets due to reorganization or liquidation made up 35.44 billion soums.
