Central Depository registers state assets for 3.721trln soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Central Depository of Securities of Uzbekistan registered state assets in 785 joint stock companies for 3.721 trillion soums in the first half of 2010. The depository said the number of the joint stock companies with state assets was 826 with total assets volume of 3.654 trillion soums in the beginning of 2010.

The depository underlined that the number of the joint stock companies decreased by 41, but total volume of their assets increased by 67 billion soums.

Structure of the state assets at the end of the reporting period:

Assets, which are kept by the state (in line with the decisions of the Cabinet of Minister), make up 226 with the volume of 1.741 trillion soums;
Assets, which will be realized through stock exchange, comprise 453 with the volume of 1.243 trillion soums;
State assets, which were transferred to economic entities for formation of their charter capital, make up 479 joint stock companies with the volume of 923.7 billion soums.
Blocked assets due to reorganization or liquidation made up 33.5 billion soums.
