Central Bank raises the key rate to 17% per annum
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The main rate of the Central Bank was raised by 3 percentage points.
According to the press service of the Central Bank, the main rate has been increased from 14 to 17% per annum.
The Central Bank last time raised the main rate (then the refinancing rate) in 2018. Then the rate was raised from 14% to 16%. In 2020, the regulator lowered the rate first to 15% and then to 14%.
