Centers for vocational training to be established in Uzbekistan in partnership with Bulgaria
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Migration Agency of Uzbekistan has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Bulgarian company VERO Scaffolding aimed at establishing Vocational Training Centers and Qualification Assessment Centers for specialists in the construction industry.
Currently, there is a high demand for skilled workers in the industrial and construction sectors in Bulgaria, with a need for around 30,000 workers.
"We plan to establish specialized centers that will help Uzbek specialists acquire in-demand skills and gain the opportunity to work on reliable and safe construction projects in Bulgaria and Germany," said Andrey Samsonov, Director of VERO Scaffolding in Central Asia.
The opening of the first Vocational Training Centers is scheduled for March-April 2025 in Karshi and Samarkand.
