Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 21 April 2022, a solemn opening ceremony of the Center for the Uzbek Language and Culture will be held at the Moscow State Linguistic University.
The cooperation agreement between the Moscow State Linguistic University (MSLU) and the Uzbek State University of World Languages (UzSUWL) was signed in May 2010. which has been successfully implemented in practice. Political science students of the Institute of International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences of MSLU began to study the Uzbek language as a second foreign language. Currently, the Uzbek language is being studied by students studying in the direction of training "Foreign Regional Studies".
Students with great interest study everything related to the history, traditions of the Uzbek people, take part in many cultural and educational events.
In 2012, together with UzSUWL, the textbook “Uzbek language for the CIS countries” was published, an educational and methodological complex in the Uzbek language was developed, and a collection of tests in the Uzbek language was published. Presentation materials (booklets, videos, stands) about the teaching of the Uzbek language at MSLU have been prepared.
In the spring of 2021, five doctoral students from UzSUWL received certificates of scientific internships at MSLU. Articles of teachers of UzSUWL are published in Vestnik MSLU.
The structeres of MSLU fruitfully cooperates with 4 universities of Uzbekistan:
Uzbek State University of World Languages;
Karshi State University;
Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages;
Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature. A. Navoi.
With the Uzbek State University of World Languages and Karshi State University, joint educational programs in linguistics are being implemented, with the issuance of two diplomas.
Teachers of universities in Uzbekistan take an active part in international scientific conferences and forums held by MSLU at the sites of the Commonwealth countries.
