CBU places treasury obligations for 2.8bn soums

Central Bank of Uzbekistan placed the state medium-term treasury obligations for 2.8 billion soums at the auction on 16 September.
The treasury obligations (issue 26043UMFS F) will circulate 728 days and repaid on 14 September 2011.
Total volume of treasury obligations, announced by the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan, was 2.8 billion soums. Announced interest rate comprised 5.7% APR.
The Central Bank said competitive applications for 2.8 billion soums on par value were received at the auction and all of them were satisfied.
