Casting and Rolling Complex with Annual Capacity of 1.04 Million Tons Completed in Bekabad

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The construction of a casting and rolling complex in Bekabad, Tashkent Region, has been completed, the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan reports.

The new facility has an annual production capacity of 1.04 million tons.

The project created 1,295 new jobs and had a total investment of US$834 million.

The construction was initiated by the joint-stock company “Uzmetkombinat.”

The new complex is aimed at strengthening the region’s metallurgical industry and expanding the production capabilities of the enterprise.
