Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A special headquarters of the Ministry of Energy analyzed cases of illegal use of natural gas by consumers.

During the event on 25 January 2022, the illegal use of 4,900,000 cubic meters of natural gas by wholesale consumers was revealed in 215 cases across the country. As a result, they caused damage to the interests of gas supply companies for 5.5 billion soums.

This amount of natural gas corresponds to one day of consumption by 280,000 households.

In all cases, relevant documents were drawn up and submitted to law enforcement agencies.
