Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By a decision of the capital’s khokim from 30 May, the car parks of the Tashkent-2 international terminal and the terminal for domestic flights Tashkent-3, as well as municipal parking adjacent to the territory of the capital’s airport, are transferred to the balance of Uzbekistan Airports.
The transfer of these territories was provided for by the resolution of the President "On measures to transform and support civil aviation enterprises" from 30 April 2021.
“The transfer of these territories will allow us to automate parking lots, conveniently design the forecourt, create amenities for those seeing off and meeting people, and, of course, solving the burning issue with taxis. It is planned to introduce an automated system at car parks that allows paying for parking without the participation of the human factor. The management company is also developing a flexible tariff system, taking into account the location and duration (hour, day) of parking,” said Rano Juraeva, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airports.
The decision of the city khokim was the first step in this process. Further, the State Assets Management Agency conducts an assessment of parking lots and the adoption of a corresponding order to increase the state share of the joint-stock company.
After that, respectively, the adoption of a decision by the single shareholder of the Ministry of Finance to increase the state share and contribute the cost of car parks to the authorized capital. And finally, following the results of all the work done, the last stage of the procedure will be the re-issuance of cadastral documents by the Agency for Cadastre from the State Unitary Enterprise "Center for Management of Municipal Assets" to JSC "Uzbekistan Airports".
