Candidates nominated for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan registered

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A regular meeting of the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan was held today.

Candidates for the post of President of Uzbekistan were registered at the meeting.

Ulugbek Inoyatov is registered as a presidential candidate from the People’s Democratic Party.

The candidate for the post of President from the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Business People - the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan will be Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Robakhon Makhmudova became a presidential candidate from the Social Democratic Party "Adolat".

A decision was also made to register Abdushukur Khamzaev from the Ecological Party as a candidate for the presidency of Uzbekistan.

Election campaigns will begin on 7 June, the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan reports.
