Business students present their new projects

The main purpose of UzLiDeP contest «Entrepreneur Student» is to strengthen the economic knowledge of new entrepreneurs, full support the initiatives and ideas of youth, and promote their business projects.

In the Center of artisans Samarkand city hosted the regional stage of the contest.

- The number of participants increases every year, for example in 2014 in the regional stage of the contest was attended by 497 participants, and in the current year was attended by 613 contestants, which demonstrates the growing interest of young people to the contest, - said head of the department of UzLiDeP council in Samarkand region F.Hasanov.

Under the contest, the students presented their creative work, innovative projects and its own products in the field of beekeeping, crafts, sewing, pastry and gold embroidery.

During the contest, the judges carefully studied and objectively evaluated the project each participant. Three contestants with the highest number of points were recognized as winners and are recommended to participate in the republican stage of the contest.

Student of Samarkand professional college J. Hodzhasaidova presented her work in woodcarving and won first place, student of Bulungur professional college S. Ismatova won second place for best costumes in the traditional style, third place won student of Akdariyа professional college C. Khakimova, she presented her project on sewing.

At the end of the event the winners and all the participants received gifts and certificates from UzLiDeP.
