Business circles of Uzbekistan and Turkey discuss issues of development of cooperation

The round table was held within the visit of the delegation led by the chairman of the board of Ziraat Bankasi A.S. (Turkey) Hussein Aydin to Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by representatives of ministries and departments, companies and concerns of the two countries responsible for construction, energy, engineering, geology, food, chemical, pharmaceutical industries, tourism.

During the round table, the business circles of Uzbekistan and Turkey discussed the current state of trade and economic relations between two countries, prospects for developing investment cooperation, strengthening ties in the transport, communications, tourism, construction and other sectors.

It was noted that Uzbekistan and Turkey still have many unused opportunities for cooperation.

The Turkish side received information on tax and customs privileges for foreign investors, as well as reforms implemented in Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, issues related to the further development of the pharmaceutical industry were also discussed. An exchange of views on implementation of joint projects and programs was held.
