Bus Catches Fire in Sergeli District of Tashkent — No Injuries Reported

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A bus caught fire on 18 February in the Sergeli district of Tashkent, the city’s Emergency Situations Department reported.

The fire was reported on Yangi Sergeli Street at 12:02 local time. Fire and rescue units arrived at the scene within five minutes, at 12:07, and extinguished the blaze by 12:09.

According to the Emergency Situations Department, no one was injured in the incident. The bus involved belonged to Tashkent’s 4th municipal motor depot.
