Bus Accident Involving Turkish Company “Yamata” Occurs in Russia’s Amur Region
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 16 October, a road traffic accident occurred at the 19th kilometer of the Blagoveshchensk–Svobodny highway in Russia’s Amur Region, involving a passenger car and a bus operated by the Turkish construction company “Yamata.”
According to the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Vladivostok and the Representation of the Migration Agency in Russia, one passenger on the bus died and 14 others sustained injuries of varying severity.
No Uzbek citizens were among the victims. An official investigation into the incident is ongoing.
