Bundestag delegation pays visit to Uzbekistan’s MFA

The sides discussed topical issues of bilateral relations, in which Uzbek-German inter-parliamentary cooperation takes important place, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The sides expressed mutual interest in further strengthening ties between the legislative bodies of the two countries.

The German delegation shared their impressions from the work of roundtable on "The role of parliaments in strengthening economic reform, social protection and the development of private enterprise: the experience of Germany and Uzbekistan", which was held today at the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.

Konrad Adenauer Foundation’s Regional authorized representative for Central Asia Thomas Kunze attended the meeting.
